Café 195 – We Only Open On Days Ending With “Y”

Good friendships can be formed over great meals. This has been the experience of the business partners Mr Vamvakas and Mr Pardasani. Ironically their meeting was at Mr Vamvakas’ restaurant where Mr Pardasani was a guest. In just over a year, Café 195 and Bistro has already made its mark in the busy Warrens business district, now operating seven days a week and producing breakfasts, lunches and dinners.

You will not be at all disappointed by the beautiful décor which was deliberately designed to bring you into a modern, chic, eating experience with amenities such as WIFI and charging stations available at every table. The appearance does not fall short on excellent service delivery and consequently the restaurant has a constant flow of customers. Anyone who has been there has complemented the service as equally as they have the food. Mr Vamvakas, who also functions as head chef to the restaurant, says this has been done so deliberately. He has over eighteen years in the restaurant business locally and agrees that good service must accompany great food.

You may wonder, why the name Café 195? Well, some coffee lovers would know that the perfect brewing temperature for coffee is between 195 and 205 degrees. Since one of the owners is an avid coffee lover, the café was so named.

The menu innovations can be described as nothing less that extra ordinary! You have variations from gourmet salads to sandwiches, wraps, pastas, pizza and much, much more – all with a flare. The breakfast is not the typical eggs, toast and bacon by any means. You can expect pancakes with delightful fruit and chocolate chips among the options.  While coffee and all of its hot and cold derivatives make up the beverage menu, you can also find a wide variety of wines, juices, sparkling and fresh juices. The menu has something for everyone and features gluten free and vegan options. You can also some dishes prepared just the way you like it!

Friday after work limes, can have a good blend of ambience, Happy Hour and good food. Happy hour begins at six and ends at eight. The house band sets the pace at seven and ushers you into the perfect start for your weekend.

The restaurant is known for breakfast and lunch, however if you are tired of Sunday cooking they have a treat in store for you as well! Brunch is available every Sunday from nine in the morning until three in the afternoon and special occasions such as Father’s Day can be made that much more memorable.

So whether in a rush for lunch, needing a good sturdy breakfast, a nice weekend lime or a Sunday break, you can find Café 195 at the Dome Mall to meet all of your needs. Not only will you be well pleased with your food, but awed by their service. Cheers!
